MOORHEAD, Minn. - Sophomore
Heidi Lensing led the Minnesota State University Moorhead volleyball team to a three set win over the Augustana as she had a match high 16 kills as the Dragons dominated the Vikings.
Lensing, had the match winning kill as the Dragons took the third set 25-21, after the Vikings began to chip their way back from a 10 point deficit. She hit .382 in the match, and also had a team high 17 digs and had one service ace on the day.
The Dragons are now 11-8 overall and 7-4 in the league. MSUM drops Augie to 9-10 overall and 5-5 in the NSIC.
Leigh Splitttstoesser had 41 assists in the match with 14 digs on the night. She also had two block assists. Ashley Pyffereon had nine kills and also had two block assists.

Ashley Feldman and
Laura Tvrdik each had eight kills.
The Dragons will wrap up their homecoming weekend as they host No.4 Wayne State (Neb.) at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 16. The team will welcome back the NSIC Championship team from 2000 as well as the 2010 class of the Dragon Athletics Hall of Fame.
Free admittance will be granted to the volleyball game to those who purchase a football ticket for the homecoming festivities.
