CROOKSTON, Minn. - Senior
Laura Tvrdik led the Minnesota State University Moorhead Dragon volleyball team to their 12th win of the season on Friday evening as the team won a three-set match over the Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagles on the road, 25-16, 25-19, 25-15.
Tvrdik had a match high 11 kills while
Heidi Lensing and
Kayla Handevidt each had eight. Lensing led the team on defense with ten digs in the match.
Leigh Splittstoesser had 37 assists in the match.
The Dragons move to 8-5 in the leage while they held the Golden Eagles winless on the year.
MSU Moorhead will return to action at Winona State on Oct. 29 with the match set to begin at 7 p.m.
