Warriors Take Close Match from Dragons

WINONA, Minn. - The Winona State Warriors took a close four-set match from the Minnesota State University Moorhead Dragon volleyball team on Friday night in NSIC action.

The scores of the sets were WSU-MSUM: 27-25, 18-25, 25-18, 25-18.

Three Winona State Warriors had kills in double figures to out match the Dragon attacks. WSU hit .308 to the MSUM .245. The Dragons' Heidi Lensing and Laura Tvrdik had 15 and 13 kills, respectively.

The Dragons will return to action on Saturday against Upper Iowa in Fayette, Iowa at 4 p.m.
