MOORHEAD, Minn. - One day after going two games over five-hundred, the Minnesota State University Moorhead Dragons (6-5, 2-1 NSIC) volleyball team dropped a match to the No. 7 University of Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs (11-0, 3-0 NSIC), 3-0 (25-21, 25-19, 25-20).
The Dragons kept up with the highly ranked team as they brought every set close. The Bulldogs were just too much for the young MSUM team to handle as they out-hit the Dragons in percentage every match. The Bulldogs hit .223 in the match while the Dragons only managed .099.
The Dragons were led by 
Heidi Lensing (Belgrade, Minn.) and 
Ashley Feldman (Baudette, Minn.), who each had eight kills in the match. 
Kayla Handevidt (Esko, Minn.) had seven kills with four block assists in the match.
The Dragons will return to the court on Friday, Sept. 24, as they travel to St. Cloud, Minn., to face hte Huskies in league play. The match will start at 7 p.m.
