MOORHEAD, Minn. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead Dragon volleyball team fell short of nationally ranked No. 13 Minnesota State University Mankato today 3-1 (25-15, 19-25, 28-26, 25-17).
Freshman
Morgan Gradishar paced the Dragons with 15 kills and 14 digs, she was also named todays Papa John's player of the game.
Other contributors for the Dragons were junior setter
Anna Olson with 43 assists and 10 digs and junior outside hitter
Heidi Lensing posted eight kills and 21 digs.
Junior defensive specialist
Katy Ness hustled after 34 digs moving her to a total of 1,181 digs in her career.
After this weekends action the Dragons are now 3-4 in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference and 5-9 on the season.
Next weekend the Dragons will travel to the University of Mary on Oct. 7 and Northern State University (SD) on Oct. 8.
