BISMARCK, N.D. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead Dragon volleyball team swept the Mauraders of the University of Mary (N.D.) 3-0 (25-13, 25-15, 25-21).
The match was a team effort tonight. Leading the Dragons was junior middle blocker
Meredith Egeland who posted 10 kills and three block assists. Following Egeland was freshman outside hitter
Morgan Gradishar with nine kills, one solo block and three block assists.
Other contributors were junior setter
Anna Olson with 40 assists, junior defensive specialist
Katy Ness had 12 digs and freshman middle blocker
Maggie Gruber put down 11 kills. Outside hitter
Heidi Lensing also chipped in nine digs and eight kills
The Dragons now 4-4 in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) and 6-9 on the year will travel to Aberdeen, S.D. tomorrow to take on the Wolves of Northern State University at 6 P.M.
