MARSHALL, Minn. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead Dragon volleyball team fell to the No. 9 Southwest Minnesota State University Mustangs for the second time this season 3-1 Tuesday night in Marshall, Minn. (25-12, 25-23, 21-25, 25-20).
The Dragons were lead by junior outside hitter 
Heidi Lensing as she put down 12 kills, had 13 digs, three service aces and two block assists. Backing Lensing's performance was was junior libero 
Katy Ness with 27 digs and one service ace.
Junior setter 
Anna Olson chipped in 38 assists four digs and one block assist. Other contributors for the Dragons were freshman outside hitters 
Annie Palmquist with 11 kills and 
Morgan Gradishar with 10 kills and four block assists.
Defensive specialists 
Angie Waller and 
Sam Reilly also continued to show the success of the Dragon defense with 14 and 10 digs respectively.
The Dragons (11-12, 9-7 NSIC) return to Alex Nemzek Fieldhouse for this final home weekend as they host Bemidji State University on Friday Nov. 4 at 7 p.m. and University of Minnesota Duluth on Nov. 5 at 4 p.m.
