MOORHEAD, Minn. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead Dragon volleyball team hits the road for their final weekend of regular season play. They will be in Winona, Minn. to face the Warriors on Nov. 11 at 7 p.m., and Fayette, S.D. to face the Peacocks at 4 p.m on Nov. 12.

The Warriors (13-15, 7-11 NSIC) host the Dragons (12-13, 10-8 NSIC) after already facing off previously this season. On Oct. 28, MSU Moorhead defeated Winona 3-0 (25-17, 27-25, 25-22). This match will be a test of defense as the Warriors boast Libero of the Year Shannon McGowan and the Dragons have 5-time NSIC Defensive Player of the Week, Katy Ness.

The Peacocks of Upper Iowa (14-13, 7-10 NSIC) also are battling the Dragons for a second time this season. On Oct. 29, the Peacocks defeated the Dragons in a well fought match 3-1 (25-9, 27-29, 15-25, 23-25).

After play concludes this weekend, the Dragons, currently No. 5 in the conference, will wait for the ever-anticipated nod into the NSIC tournament.
