MOORHEAD, Minn. - The Minnesota State University Moorhead Dragons volleyball team finished play today in the Tharaldson Classic against the Vikings of Augustana (SD).
The Vikings won the match 3-1 (25-21, 25-13, 21-25, 25-22).
After the Vikings topped the Dragons in set one and two, the Dragons came back to claim the third set 25-21. The fourth match proved to be a fight to the finish, but the Vikings took the set 25-22.
Outside hitter
Heidi Lensing lead the Dragons with 13 kills and 20 digs. Junior setter
Anna Olson totaled up 37 assists while junior defensive specialist
Katy Ness added 35 digs. Rookie
Annie Palmquist continued to prove her worth as she put down 15 kills.
The Dragons are set to take on the Golden Eagles of the University of Minnesota Crookston in Crookston on Tuesday Sept. 13th.
