MOORHEAD, Minn. - The Minnesota State University Moorhead Dragon volleyball team moves to 2-0 in conference play after defeating the Beavers of Bemidji State University 3-0 (25-11, 25-21, 25-21).
The Dragons over all record moves to 4-5 as they sit undefeated in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.
The Dragons were led by junior setter Anna Olson with 26 assists and nine digs and outside hitter Heidi Lensing who totaled nine kills and 13 digs.
Other contributors were middle blocker Ashley Feldman with six kills and 12 block assists and defensive specialist Katy Ness with 17 digs. Freshman Annie Palmquist led all hitters with 10 kills.
The Dragons take the court again tomorrow Sept. 17 at the University of Minnesota, Duluth at 7 p.m.
