Omaha, Neb. - The Minnesota State University Moorhead Dragon volleyball team spilt day two of the UNO Tournament against the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith and Southeastern Oklahoma State University.

In MSU Moorhead's first match of the day, they fell short of the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith losing 3-0 (25-16,25-20,25-16).

Junior setter Anna Olson led the way for the Dragons with 29 assists and 11 digs. Heidi Lensing added eight kills and 11 digs, and Annie Palmquist  and Meredith Egeland put down nine and eight kills respectively.

The Dragons' second outing was smooth sailing from start to finish. In three sets, MSU Moorhead defeated the Savage Storm of SOSU (25-17, 25-11, 25-20) moving the Dragons' record to 1-3 on the season.

Once again Olson paced the Dragons with 32 assists and 10 digs. Lensing and Palmquist both posted 10 kills and defensive specialist Katy Ness had 18 digs.

The Dragons return home to host the Tharaldson Classic Tournament on September 9-10 in Alex Nemzek Fieldhouse.
