MOORHEAD, Minn. -- The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's basketball team begins a stretch of four consecutive games on the road this week. The Dragons will open the road swing at Bemidji State (6 p.m. on Friday) and conclude the week at Minnesota Crookston (4 p.m. on Saturday).
MSUM is 9-5 overall and 5-5 in the NSIC. The Dragons are in a three-way tie for fourth in the north division.
MSUM and Bemidji State will meet for a 94th time with the Dragons holding a 55-38 series lead, including winning, 94-69 in December. The Dragons and Minnesota Crookston will face off for a 33rd time with MSUM leading the series 29-3, including a 77-60 win in December.

Senior
Megan Strese became the Dragons' 20th player to reach 1,000 career points during MSUM's loss to No. 17 Minnesota State. Strese scored less than two minutes into the game to surpass 1,000 for her career. She now has 1,005 career points and is the first Dragon to reach the milestone since Angie Jetvig.
Thomforde Delivers
Senior guard
Haley Thomforde played a key role in MSUM's 81-68 win over Concordia-St. Paul -- the NSIC preseason favorite -- on Jan. 10. Thomforde had a career-high 26 points and also had eight rebounds and three assists.
Roehrich's Rise
Sophomore guard
Meghan Roehrich is having a breakout season for the Dragons. She is second on the team in scoring at 12.3 points per game. She scored in double figures in eight straight games, which is the longest streak on the team in the season.
