The Bulldogs cut the lead to 34-29 less than three minutes into the second half but a quick 9-0 Dragon run – consisting of three-pointers from junior forward Savanna Handevidt, Banasik and Roehrich -- pushed the lead to 43-29 with 16:17 left.

MSUM led by as many as 24 in the second half. The Bulldogs cut the lead to seven in the final minute but a basket by junior forward Heather Strese in the final seconds iced the nine-point win for MSUM.

Strese added nine points and five rebounds for MSUM.
