MOORHEAD, Minn. -- The Minnesota State University Moorhead men's basketball team wraps up the 2013-14 regular season with a pair of Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference games this week. The Dragons will face Minot State at 8 p.m. on Friday and conclude the weekend with a game against Mary at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
MSUM is 17-7 overall and 13-7 in the NSIC. The Dragons are tied for second in the NSIC North Division with St. Cloud State, just two games behind Bemidji State. MSUM owns the seeding tiebreaker with St. Cloud State as a result of sweeping the Huskies this season. The Dragons have clinched a home game in the opening round of the NSIC tournament, but this weekend will be crucial in determining final seeding in the tournament.
MSUM will meet Mary for a 23rd time, with the series tied at 11-11. The Dragons beat the Marauders, 83-73 in Bismarck, N.D., in December. The Dragons will meet Minot State for a 30th time and hold a 20-9 lead, winning, 78-67 in Minot, N.D., in December.
About MSUM
The Dragons went 1-1 on the road last weekend, falling to Augustana, 92-88 on Friday and beating Wayne State, 95-84 on Saturday.

About Minot State
Minot State is 8-16 overall and 4-16 in the NSIC. The Beavers were swept at home last weekend, losing to Sioux Falls, 83-72 on Friday and Southwest Minnesota State, 75-72 on Saturday.
E. J. Williams leads Minot State at 15.8 points, while Samuel Johnson averages 11.9 and Dominique McDonald is at 11.5. Thomas Korf averages 10.5 points per game. Chris East leads at 7.5 rebounds per game while McDonald averages 3.3 assists per game.
As a team, Minot State scores 74.5 points per game and shoots 44.2 percent from the field. The Beavers outrebound their opposition, 35.7-32.5 and allow 75.5 points per game.
Matt Murken is in his second season as Minot State's head coach with a record of 18-33 at the school.
About Mary
The Marauders are 7-18 overall and 5-15 in the NSIC. They split at home last weekend, beating SMSU, 74-65 on Friday before losing to Sioux Falls, 79-71 in overtime on Saturday.
Marc Musungayi leads the Marauders at 13.2 points and 5.6 rebounds per game. Musungayi also has 25 blocks. Jalen Jaspers averages 10.6 points per game. Marquealis Edwards leads at 2.5 assists per game.
Mary averages 69.0 points per game and shoots 44.9 percent from the field. The Marauders outrebound their foes, 33.9-33.2 and allow 74.6 points per game.
Jevon Budde is in his third season as Mary's head coach with a record of 19-58 at the school.

MSUM leads the NSIC in offensive rebounds per game at 13.58, which is 45th-best in the nation. Clark leads the way in that category at 3.36 per game, which is ranked 44th in the nation.

Senior
Tarell Clark is having a solid all-round season for MSUM. He leads MSUM in scoring (12.3), rebounding (8.5 per game) and steals (30). Clark is shooting 54.1 percent from the field and also has an impressive 74 offensive rebounds. Clark scored a career-high 26 points on 10-of-16 shooting in MSUM's 87-63 win over Minnesota Crookston on Jan. 18. Twice this season, he has pulled down a career-high 18 rebounds; the latest was on Feb. 8 against Minnesota Duluth.
