Meet ResultsABERDEEN, S.D. – A big night by senior
Annika Bordak led the way for the Minnesota State University Moorhead women's swimming and diving team in the Dragons' 184-78 dual win over Northern State in action Friday night at the Aberdeen YMCA in Aberdeen, S.D.
No diving was held on Friday since the YMCA poll does not have a legal diving board.
Bordak won four individual events, including the 100 IM exhibition, and also was leadoff on the winning 400 medley relay. She won the 200 fly (2:18.48), 200 back (2:17.25), 200 IM (2:18.60) and the 100 IM exhibition, which all swimmers competed in. She won the 100 IM in 1:03.37. Bordak teamed up with senior
Viviane Nagasaki, junior
Madison Kuznia and freshman
Natalie Kampa for a win in the 400 medley relay. Bordak swam a 1:01.38 backstroke leadoff to help the team record a winning time of 4:12.32.

"This was Annika's best all-around meet since sophomore year," MSUM head coach
Todd Peters said. "Tonight was a fast-paced meet since there were no diving breaks so for her to swim three tough 200 yard races and win all of them and then finish off by narrowly missing her lifetime best 100 IM was a huge accomplishment. Freshman
Linnea Johnson had a big night with two lifetime bests, with her first college event win in the 100 back (1:03.93), and also a runner-up finish to Bordak in the 200 back (2:20.83)."
Â
Kampa also had a strong showing. She won the 200 free (2:04.36), 500 free (5:32.93), and anchored the 400 medley relay (55.37 split). She also led off the winning 800 free relay, which also consisted of junior
Kelly Engbring, freshman
Taylor Beynon and sophomore
Erin Sullivan. Their winning time was 8:24.47.
Â
Beynon won the 200 breaststroke in 2:32.58 with freshman
Erin Fons was second in 2:34.18.
Senior
Jackie Woods won the 100 butterfly in 1:03.86 and was second in the 50 free in 26.38.
Freshman
Linnea Johnson won the 100 back in 1:03.93 with junior
Shae Bodrero second in 1:04.19. Johnson was second to Bordak in the 200 back in 2:20.83.
Junior
Danae Scheef had a pair of runner-up finishes, taking second in the 200 free (2:06.39) and in the 500 free (5:39.24). Junior
Amber Helgoe was second in the 100 free in 56.49.
MSUM's next action is on Oct. 30 at the College of St. Catherine. The dual begins at 6 p.m. in St. Paul, Minn.
