Meet ResultsST. PAUL, Minn. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's swimming and diving team won 15 of 16 events on its way to a 198-95 win over the College of St. Catherine in dual meet action Friday in St. Paul, Minn. Junior
Ashley Higgins won two events and was part of two winning relays to lead the Dragons.
Ashley HigginsMSUM is now 4-4 in dual meets this season while St. Catherine's is 0-1.
Higgins won the 50 free with a lifetime-best time of 25.36 and won the 50 fly in 27.64, which was also a lifetime-best. Â She was also part of the winning 200 medley relay that won in 1:50.41, just missing the pool record of 1:49.98. That consisted of sophomore

Sullivan won the 100 free in 55.42 and was second in the 50 free in 25.36. She added a second in the 50 butterfly in 27.71.

Jana Hedstrom won the 1-meter diving with a score of 226.85 with Pascavis second at 218.95. Pascavis won the 3-meter diving at 259.80 – narrowly missing her lifetime best of 262 -- with Hedstrom second at 214.35.
Senior
Jackie Woods won the 50 breaststroke in 31.50. Junior
Madison Kuznia won the 100 back in 1:00.75 while senior
Annika Bordak won the 100 IM in 1:03.35.
Freshman
Taylor Beynon won the 1,000 free in 11:09.57 with junior
Kelly Engbring in second in 11:25.29.
Linnea Johnson won the 200 free in 2:05.02 and was second in the 100 back in 1:00.75. Sophomore
Laura Mitlyng won the 50 back in 29.79 with freshman
Marissa Hudoba second in 31.12.
Junior
Kelly Engbring won the 500 free in 5:31.12 while Fons won the 100 breaststroke in 1:09.65 and took second in the 50 breaststroke in 32.16.
MSUM returns to action on Nov. 6 at crosstown rival Concordia College. The dual begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Concordia pool.
