MOORHEAD, Minn. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's swimming and diving team goes on the road this week for a pair of duals. The Dragons will face the College of St. Benedict at 6 p.m. on Friday in St. Joseph, Minn., and then will face Wisconsin-Eau Claire at 1 p.m. on Saturday in Eau Claire, Wis.
MSUM enters the week at 5-4 in dual meets.
"We are looking forward to facing some tougher Division III opponents this weekend," MSUM head coach
Todd Peters said. "St. Ben's is coming off a win at the six-team Hamline Invite while Eau Claire beat LaCrosse for the first time in over 15 years so we know we will have better competition than the last three weekends. Everyone is going to be competing in their best events and we will need some of our freshmen to step up again like they did last weekend if we are going to come home with two wins."
MSUM beat both opponents a year ago. The Dragons beat St. Ben's 200.5-98.5 and beat UWEC 164-136.
