MSUM is now 6-4 in duals on the year and has won five duals in a row.

Sullivan had a big night to lead the way for MSUM.  Sullivan won the 100 butterfly in 1:00.42, topping senior teammate Annika Bordak, who was second in 1:01.09. Sullivan's time was just shy of a lifetime best. Sullivan also won the 100 free in 55.39 (lifetime-best) and claimed the 200 free in 2:01.08 (lifetime-best).

Three other Dragons – junior Madison Kuznia, and freshmen Taylor Beynon and Erin Fons – each won two individual events. Kuznia and Beynon were also members of the winning 200 medley relay, which won in 1:52.13. Kuznia, Beynon, senior Jackie Woods and junior Amber Helgoe were part of the 'B' relay which earned the win.

Kuznia won the 100 back in 1:00.70 and added a win in the 200 back in 2:14.92.

Fons won the 100 breast in 1:07.79 and also claimed the 200 breaststroke in 2:27.44, both season bests and team-bests for the year.

Beynon won the 500 free in 5:28.65 and added a win in the 200 IM at 2:15.99; both times were season-bests. Bordak was second in the 200 IM in 2:17.97, a season-best. Freshman Sami DuVal won the 200 butterfly with a season-best of 2:17.08, edging  teammate Bordak, who was second in 2:17.65, a lifetime-best.  DuVal was also runner-up in the 200 back 2:19.44

Junior Ashley Higgins won the 50 free in 25.45. Senior Jana Hedstrom won the 1-meter diving at 244.95, which was a lifetime-best score, and was second in 3-meter diving in 219.15. Junior Kelly Engbring was second in the 1,000 free in 11:32.68.

"We had some strong performances today particularly by freshmen Erin Fons, Taylor Beynon and Sami DuVal as those three combined for five individual event wins," MSUM head coach Todd Peters said. "They all swam times faster than anything they have done unrested before.  It is really exciting to think of what they will be able to achieve when we rest.  The swims tonight set up us well for a close meet against Eau Claire tomorrow.  Everyone is going to need to step it up even more tomorrow to come away with a win."

The Dragons wrap up the weekend road trip on Saturday at Wisconsin-Eau Claire. The dual begins at 1 p.m. in Eau Claire, Wis.
