MOORHEAD, Minn. -- The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's basketball team concludes the regular season this week with games at Bemidji State (6 p.m. on Friday) and Minnesota Crookston (4 p.m. on Saturday).
The Dragons (14-10, 13-7 NSIC) have already clinched a first-round home game in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference tournament, which begins on Feb. 25. They trail Northern State by one game in the NSIC North Division race.

MSUM (12-10, 11-7 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference) will face Bemidji State for a 96th time. The Dragons hold a 56-39 edge in the series, including a 94-74 rout of the Beavers in January. MSUM owns a 30-4 lead in the series with Minnesota Crookston and beat the Golden Eagles, 68-64 in January.
MSUM earned two home wins last weekend, beating Minnesota Duluth, 68-59 on Friday and then dominating St. Cloud State, 89-56 on Saturday. Junior guard
Meghan Roehrich averaged 21.5 points in the two wins for MSUM.

Natalie Van Wyhe averages 3.9 assists per game while sophomore guard

MSUM outrebounds its foes 41.5-35.6 while allowing 66.0 points per game on defense. Teams shoot 39.5 percent against the Dragons this season.
Karla Nelson is in her 15th season as MSUM's head coach with a record of 254-169 at the school.
About Bemidji StateThe Beavers are 6-19 overall and 3-17 in the NSIC. They have lost 11 of 12 games, including road losses at Mary (55-45) and Minot State (77-50) last weekend.
Sierra Senske leads Bemidji State at 14.6 points and 6.1 rebounds per game, while Aimee Pelzer averages 11.0 points and 2.8 assists per game. Pelzer also leads with 37 steals. Bemidji State averages 64.0 points per game and shoots 39.2 percent from the field.
The Beavers are being outrebounded, 39.4-34.8 by their foes and are surrendering 72.9 points per game on defense.

About Minnesota CrookstonThe Golden Eagles are 12-12 overall and 11-9 in the NSIC. They split on the road last weekend, falling at Minot State, 75-69 before beating Mary, 72-54. Katrina Moenkedick averaged 21 points in the two games for UMC.
Junior Alexa Thielman leads UMC at 16.4 points per game while Moenkedick averages 14.8 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. Moenkedick and Ebony Livingston share the team lead with 52 assists while Thielman has 41 steals. UMC averages 69.7 points per game and shoots 39.6 percent from the field.
The Golden Eagles outrebound their foes, 39.5-38.3 allow 67 points per game on defense.
Mike Roysland is in his ninth year as UMC's head coach with a record of 73-167 at the school.
