Live VideoLive ResultsMOORHEAD, Minn. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's swimming and diving team will get one final tuneup before the conference meet on Saturday when the Dragons host Minnesota State. The dual begins at 1 p.m. at the Nemzek pool.
MSUM is 6-5 in duals this season while Minnesota State is 2-2.
The Dragons beat the Mavericks in a dual for the first time on Dec. 8, 2012 by a 152-146 score. The Mavericks won the most recent meeting in 2015 by a 168-132 margin.
"Mankato is going to be a very tough dual for us. They have put up some of the best times in the nation in multiple events, including some really fast relays," MSUM head coach
Todd Peters said. "Our only advantages are being at home and having a large group of seniors who have something to prove in their final home meet of their career. As usual, we are depending on our divers to help put us in the meet and then we will have to find a way to sneak a few surprise event wins. It will definitely be a great meet to watch."
The meet is the final for MSUM before the New South Intercollegiate Swim Conference Championships on Feb. 17-20 in Cleveland, Miss.
