BISMARCK, N.D. — The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's swimming and diving team won nine of 14 events on its way to a 149-110 win over the University of Mary in a dual Sunday at the BSC Aquatic and Fitness Center in Bismarck, N.D. Senior
Madison Kuznia and junior
Erin Sullivan each claimed two individual wins to lead the Dragons.
MSUM is now 4-4 in duals this season. The Dragon divers did not compete as Mary does not field a diving squad.
"It was great to be part of UMary's first ever home meet at the fast pool in the Bismarck Aquatic Center," MSUM head coach
Todd Peters said. "We continued to have fast swims across the board. We rested a few swimmers with minor injuries which gave many other athletes the opportunity to step up. Freshmen Téa Nyland,
McKenna Togstad,
Abby Kostiuk, and
Courtney Skarie all had great weekends for us."
Kuznia won the 100 back in 1:00.46 and also claimed the 200 back in 2:13.90 to give her two wins on the day.
Sullivan won the 50 free in 25.51 and claimed the 100 IM in 1:02.73 and also led off the winning 400 medley relay.
