MOORHEAD, Minn. — The Minnesota State University Moorhead wrestling team led 8-4 after three matches but No. 8-ranked Augsburg came back to record a 25-12 win over the Dragons in a nonconference dual Thursday night in Moorhead, Minn.
MSUM is now 1-2 in duals this season while Augsburg, which is ranked in the latest Division III poll, improved to 5-0.

Kristian Vazquez won at 141 for the Dragons.
Augsburg won by major decision at 125 to take a 4-0 lead, but Bosch answered with a convincing 19-3 win technical fall win over Bennyhoff at 133 to push MSUM up 5-4. Bosch (14-1) is now at 97 career wins for his collegiate career.
Vazquez (5-3) also was impressive, rolling to a 9-2 win over Mike Hayes at 141 to build an 8-4 Dragon lead.
The Auggies won the next six matches — three coming by major decision — to take a 25-8 lead in the dual. Abdullatif (10-5) put together an impressive performance at heavyweight as he rolled to a 12-0 win over Ethan Hofacker at 285 to make the final score 25-12.
MSUM is off until Dec. 19 when it competes at the Vegas Duals in Las Vegas, Nev. The Dragons will wrestle four duals that day.
