MOORHEAD, Minn. — The No. 18-ranked Minnesota State University Moorhead women's basketball team takes a 13-game winning streak back on the road this weekend for a pair of Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference matchups. The Dragons will play at Augustana at 6 p.m. on Friday and at Wayne State (Neb.) at 4 p.m. on Saturday.
The Dragons (13-1, 10-0 NSIC) have won 13 in a row and have not lost since Nov. 12. It is the second-longest win streak in school history.
MSUM will face Augustana for a 24th time with the Vikings holding a 16-7 lead in the series. Augie won both meetings last season. The Dragons will meet Wayne State for a 37th time with the Wildcats holding a 20-16 lead. MSUM beat the Wildcats last season in Moorhead in the last meeting between the two teams.

About the Dragons
The No. 18 Dragons enter the week on a 13-game winning streak, which is their second-longest in school history. They enter the week alone in first in the NSIC with a 10-0 record, two games ahead of Winona State and Sioux Falls. MSUM leads the NSIC North by three games.

The Dragons allow 53.6 points per game, second-best in the NSIC. Teams are shooting only 36.3 percent against the Dragons this season, including just 29.5 percent from three-point range. MSUM outrebounds its foes 36.9-30.7.
Karla Nelson is in her 17th season as the MSUM head coach with a record of 291-178 at the school.
About Augustana
Augustana is 12-5 overall and 7-3 in the NSIC. The Vikings split on the road last weekend, beating Minnesota State, 91-68 before losing at Concordia-St. Paul, 83-77.
Logan O'Farrell leads Augustana at 13.9 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. Naomi Rust averaged 10.1 points per game while Sydney Rome averages 9.4. Lynsey Prosser leads at 67 assists while O'Farrell leads at 40 steals.

Wayne State is 12-3 overall and 7-3 in the NSIC. The Wildcats enter the week on a seven-game winning streak, beating Concordia-St. Paul (66-52) and Minnesota State (70-55) on the road last weekend.
Paige Ballinger averages 13.3 points per game while Maggie Schulte is at 12.5 and Anna Martensen at 11.5. Martensen averages 6.8 rebounds per game while Haley Moore leads with 65 assists. Martensen has 30 steals.
