ST. CLOUD, Minn. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead wrestling team fell on the road on Thursday, losing to No. 1-ranked St. Cloud State 38-3 in a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference dual in St. Cloud, Minn.
MSUM fell to 3-7 overall and 0-3 in the NSIC, while St. Cloud State, the two-time defending Division II national champs, improved to 10-1 overall and 2-0 in the league.
The Dragons' lone win came at 133 pounds, where No. 3-ranked
Blake Bosch improved to 21-1 on the year with a hard-fought 3-2 win over SCSU's Mike Rhone. That brought MSUM with 6-3 after the Huskies won by fall at 125. Bosch is now 21-1 on the year.
St. Cloud State had five wrestlers ranked in the top six in the nation in the lineup on Thursday. The Huskies won by fall at 125 and 285, by technical fall at 165 and by major decision at 141 and 197.

Dylan Connell battled tough for the Dragons before falling to James Pleski, 3-1. Sophomore
Adam Blees hung tough at 174 before losing to No. 5-ranked Clayton Jennisen, 6-1.
MSUM hosts Northern State on Jan. 27. It will be the home finale for MSUM and also will be Alumni Night and Senior Night.
