MOORHEAD, Minn. — After a 3-0 homestand, the No. 24-ranked Minnesota State University Moorhead women's basketball team begins a stretch of four straight road games this week. The Dragons will play at Minot State on Friday at 6 p.m. and conclude the weekend with a game at Mary at 4 p.m. on Saturday.
The Dragons (11-1, 8-0 NSIC) have won 11 in a row and have not lost since Nov. 12.
MSUM will meet Minot State for a 25th time and holds a 19-5 series lead, including a 57-46 win in December thanks to 16 points from junior
Drew Sannes. The Dragons will meet Mary for a 39th time and lead the series 25-13. MSUM rolled to an 82-59 win over the Marauders on Dec. 2 with Sannes posting 32 points and 16 rebounds.

About the Dragons
The No. 24 Dragons enter the week on a 11-game winning streak, which is their longest since winning 11 in a row to open the season in 2008-09. They enter the week alone in first in the NSIC with a 8-0 record, one game ahead of Winona State. MSUM beat Minnesota State, 66-58 and Concordia-St. Paul, 76-63 at home last weekend.

Drew Sannes leads MSUM at 16.6 points and 10.1 rebounds per game, while junior guard
Cassidy Thorson averages 14.7 points per game. Sophomore
Jacky Volkert averages 12.0 points per game and leads with 50 assists and 20 steals.
The Dragons allow 53.8 points per game, second-best in the NSIC. Teams are shooting only 36.3 percent against the Dragons this season, including just 27 percent from three-point range. MSUM outrebounds its foes 37.8-30.8.
Karla Nelson is in her 17th season as the MSUM head coach with a record of 289-178 at the school.
About Minot State
Minot State is 3-11 overall and 1-7 in the NSIC. The Beavers split on the road last weekend, beating St. Cloud State, 77-63 on Dec. 30 before losing to Minnesota Duluth, 69-48 the next night.
Kari Clements averages 10.7 points per game for Minot State while Mariah Payne averages 10.1. Those two are the Minot players averaging in double figures. Kristal Flowers averages 6.7 rebounds per game while Payne averages 3.0 assists. Clements leads at 2.2 steals per game.
As a team Minot State is scoring 63.9 points per game and shooting 37.9 percent from the field. The Beavers allow 75.1 points per game and outrebound their foes 36.9-34.8.
Sheila Green Gerding is in her 22nd season as the Minot State head coach with a record of 360-268.
About Mary
Mary is 8-8 overall and 3-5 in the NSIC. The Marauders split on the road last weekend, losing 85-73 at Minnesota Duluth on Dec. 30 before beating St. Cloud State 82-81 the next day.
Hannah Larson leads the Marauders at 13.3 points and 7.8 rebounds per game. Gabbie Bohl averages 12.0 points and 5.1 rebounds per game. Larson leads at 2.8 assists per game and also leads with 41 total blocks.
Mary scores 62.5 points per game and shoots 42.2 percent from the field. The Marauders outrebound their foes 36.7-32.7 and allow 62.2 points per game.
Rick Neumann is in his fifth season as Mary's head coach with a record of 69-64 at the school.
