MOORHEAD, Minn. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's swimming and diving team hits the road for a pair of dual meets this weekend in Sioux Falls, S.D.  The Dragons will face the University of Sioux Falls at 6 p.m. on Friday and Augustana University at 10 a.m. on Saturday.

The Dragons are 4-4 in duals this season.

"We are excited for our first-ever duals in Sioux Falls against the University of Sioux Falls at the newly-built Midco Aquatics Center on Friday and against Augustana on their campus on Saturday," MSUM head coach Todd Peters said. "Both programs were new to the conference last season and are much improved this year.  They will both give us a challenge and we are going into the meets with our best line-ups.  USF and Augustana are strong in distance freestyle and they will likely win those events against us.  We are stronger in just about all the other events, including relays."

Last time out
The Dragons are coming off a 2-4 weekend at the St. Cloud State Quad. The Dragons went 1-2 on Friday and 1-2 on Saturday. The Dragons were led on Saturday by junior Taylor Beynon, who recorded a pair of top three finishes after recording three top three finishes on Friday. Junior Linnea Johnson was fifth in the 100 free, while senior Molly O'Brien was sixth in the 1,650 free. Sophomore Leticia Rodovalho was sixth in the 100 butterfly, while sophomore Erin Fons was sixth in the 100 backstroke.

Senior Erin Sullivan is second all-time in points scored for MSUM while Beynon has climbed into 10th.
