SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's swimming and diving team won 10 events on its way to a 155-139 win over the University of Sioux Falls in action at the Midco Aquatic Center in Sioux Falls, S.D. Sophomore
Breah Anderson and junior
Taylor Beynon each won two events to pace the Dragons.
MSUM is now 5-4 in duals this season. The contest was the first-ever home dual for USF.
"I knew this would be a close meet and diving would likely be the difference and that is exactly what happened," MSUM head coach
Todd Peters said. "Most of the races came down to the final few yards and in the end, the 32 points our divers scored allowed us to come out on top. The Dragon swimmers also posted five of the fastest conference times this season, including an exciting come from behind win in the final event of the evening, the 200 free relay."
Anderson won the 50 free in 24.13, fastest time in the NSIC this season and 17th-fastest nationally. She added a win in the 100 free in 53.30, which is the fastest NSIC time this season in that event.
