Former Dragon QB Trestman Guides Toronto Argonauts to CFL Grey Cup Title

OTTAWA, Canada – Former Minnesota State University Moorhead quarterback Marc Trestman has guided the Toronto Argonauts to the Canadian Football League Grey Cup championship. The Argonauts defeated Calgary 27-24 on Sunday to claim the cup.

Trestman started five games at quarterback for the Dragons in 1978 under MSUM Hall of Fame coach Ross Fortier.

He coached the NFL's Chicago Bears from 2013-14. Prior to that he coached the Montreal Alouettes to two Grey Cup Championships and a 59-31 record.

Trestman led the Argonauts to a 9-9 regular season record and East Division title.
