MOORHEAD, Minn. — The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's swimming and diving team won five events but came up short against Minnesota State University, Mankato, falling to the Mavericks 186-114 in a dual on Saturday at the Nemzek Pool in Moorhead, Minn.
"Mankato showed today why they are the team to beat at the conference meet. We had many strong races against them and came up short too many times to win the meet," MSUM head coach
Todd Peters said. "Our divers had a great meet for us, winning the 1-meter board and finishing 2-3-4 on the 3-meter. They did what we needed them to do today and we are really excited about how they will be able to finish at the conference meet seeing today how they match up against Mankato's divers."
