MOORHEAD, Minn. — The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's swimming and diving team is back in action on Saturday when it hosts Augustana. The dual begins at 1:30 p.m. at the Nemzek Pool on the MSUM campus.
MSUM is 2-0 in duals on the season.
MSUM picked up its second dual win of the season on Nov. 19 with a 168-69 win over Northern State.
Freshman
Katelin Winter won the 200 free and 500 free events to lead MSUM while senior
Amber Westereng swept both diving events. Also picking up wins for MSUM were junior
Breah Anderson (50 free), junior
Grace Moffat (1,000 free), senior
Taylor Beynon (100 breast) and freshman
Lexie Bray (100 back). The Dragons also won a relay event to open the meet.
Winter leads MSUM with four wins, while Beynon, Westereng and Anderson have three each. Bray has two victories.
In two dual meets this season MSUM has 21 event victories.
The Vikings fell to Division I foe South Dakota State, 153-127 in their last competition on Oct. 20. Augustana opened the season on Oct. 6 with wins over Mary (246-180) and Northern State (292-116). Sophomore Taylor Beagle was the NSIC Freshman of the Year in 2017-18 and picked up two conference titles last season in the 1,000 free and 1,650 free.
