MOORHEAD, Minn. -- A goal from senior defender
Kylee Billings gave the Minnesota State University Moorhead women's soccer team a 1-0 victory over Minnesota Crookston in their regular season finale on Sunday afternoon. The win means MSUM maintains the Highway 75 Rivalry Rock for a third straight year.
MSUM finished with four Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference wins, the most for the Dragons since the 2011 season.
It was Senior Day for the Dragons, and seven seniors were honored prior to the game: forwards
Annika Greaney and
Marissa Wong, midfielders
Jessica Dallman,
Tomomi Nishihara, and
Hannah Loos, and defenders
Kylee Billings and
Kendall Schauer.

The teams were scoreless after the first half despite MSUM outshooting UMC 12-4. The Dragons wouldn't need much time to find the back of the net in the second half as Billings notched a goal at the 46:35 mark. The goal registered as Billings' second of the year, and she was assisted by Loos, another senior.
"It was great to go out with a win for the team and seniors," MSUM head coach
Christie Kopietz said. "It was icing on the cake that was a senior-to-senior goal."
Billings finished with a team-high eight shots and four shots on goal. The Dragons outshot the Golden Eagles 23-9 on the day.
Freshman goalkeeper
Kayleigh Sedlacek played all 90 minutes and had five saves in the shutout. Sunday's win marked her third shutout of the year.
