The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's basketball team makes its long-awaited home debut on Friday when it hosts the University of Mary for a 5:30 p.m. game. The Dragons will wrap up the weekend on Saturday by hosting Minot State at 3:30 p.m.
MSUM has won five in a row and is 7-2 overall and 3-0 in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference. Friday's game will be televised live on Midco Sports Network while Saturday's game will be broadcast live on WDAY'Z Xtra. Check local listings for availability in your area.
The Dragons will face U-Mary for a 44th time and lead the all-time series with the Marauders 30-13. The Dragons lead the all-time series with Minot State 23-5.
MSUM went 2-0 on the road, dropping NSIC foes Minnesota Crookston (76-60) and Bemidji State (72-47). Senior guard

Kiley Borowicz averaged 18 points per game for the week while sophomore
Megan Hintz averaged 16.0 points and 13.0 rebounds for the week.
Borowicz averages 13.8 points and 5.0 rebounds per game and also leads with 17 steals. Hintz averages 12.9 points and 10.8 rebounds per game while Volkert is at 10.1 points and leads at 3.9 assists per game. Â
As a team MSUM scores 62.7 points per game and shoots 38.5 percent from the field. The Dragons outrebound their foes 44.0-32.7 and allow 52.7 points per game.
Karla Nelson is in her 19th season as the MSUM head coach with a record of 332-190 at the school. Nelson is the second-longest tenured head coach in the NSIC.

The Marauders are 5-1 overall and 3-0 in the NSIC and have won four in a row, including home wins over St. Cloud State (59-47) and Minnesota Duluth (82-76) last weekend.
U-Mary is scoring 75.3 points per game and shooting 44.4 percent from the field. Gabbie Bohl leads the offense at 22.3 points and 11.0 rebounds per game. Cassie Askvig averages 15.8 points and 8.5 rebounds per game while Coral Gillette averages 11.0 points per game. Tonya Dvorak leads at 3.5 assists per game. The Marauders allow 60.0 points per game and outrebound their foes 41.8-32.0.

About Minot State
The Beavers, who face Northern State on Friday prior to facing MSUM, enter the week at 5-4 overall and 0-3 in the NSIC and have lost three in a row. They were swept by St. Cloud State (61-60) and Minnesota Duluth (74-48) at home last weekend.
Kari Clements leads Minot State at 13.6 points per game while Madison Wald averages 13.4 points and 4.8 rebounds per contest. Mariah Payne averages 12.0 points per game and 4.5 assists per game. The Beavers score 67.9 points per game and shoot 43.3 percent from the field. Minot State allows 62.6 points per game and outrebounds its foes 38.7-34.7.
Mark Graupe is in his second season as the Minot State head coach with a record of 19-17.
