MANKATO, Minn. — Junior
Breah Anderson picked up two wins and senior diver
Amber Westereng and freshman
Katelin Winter added victories but the Minnesota State University Moorhead women's swimming and diving team came up short against Minnesota State, Mankato on Saturday, losing to the Mavericks 163-125 in a dual meet in Mankato, Minn.
MSUM fell to 3-2 in duals on the season.
Anderson had a good meet for the Dragons. She won the 50 free in 24.54 and also captured the 100 free in 53.41.
Amber Westereng won the 3-meter diving at 226.90 and was second in the 1-meter diving at 232.05.
Winter won the 200 free in 1:59.44. She added a second in the 200 breaststroke at 5:24.66.
Senior
Taylor Beynon had three runner-up finishes on the day.. She was second in the 100 breaststroke in 1:05.58 and added a second in the 200 breaststroke in 2:26.09 and another in the 200 IM (2:14.50).
Junior
Leticia Rodovalho was second in the 200 fly in 2:18.28 and added a second in the 100 fly in 1:03.47.
Freshman
Lexie Bray was second in the 100 back at 1:01.41 while freshman
Kate MacGregor was second in the 200 backstroke at 2:21.27.
MSUM wraps up the home season on Feb. 1 against Concordia College at 6 p.m.
