MOORHEAD, Minn. — The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's swimming and diving team returns to dual competition this week with a contest at Northern State. The meet begins at 5:30 p.m. on Friday at the Aberdeen YMCA in Aberdeen, S.D.
MSUM competed at the JoAnn Andregg Invite hosted by St. Thomas last weekend and finished fifth.
The dual is one of two competitions before Christmas for MSUM. The team will compete at the Rochester Invite on Dec. 6-7.

There were several solid swims and diving scores posted by MSUM at the JoAnn Andregg meet hosted by St. Thomas on Friday and Saturday.
Sophomore
Katelin Winter was second in the 200 IM in 2:11.35 and second in the 200 free in 1:56.55 as she continued her excellent start to the season. Senior
Breah Anderson was second in the 50 free in 24.45 and fourth in the 100 free in 54.69. Sophomore
Lexie Bray tied for second in the 100 backstroke in 1:00.56.
Senior
Grace Moffat was third in the 200 butterfly in 2:16.07, which was a season-best, and sixth in the 500 free in 5:27.69. Senior
Leticia Esteves Rodovalho was fifth in the 200 butterfly in 2:19.21. Senior
Erin Fons was fifth in the 100 breaststroke in 1:09.92 and seventh in the 200 breaststroke in 2:35.78. Junior
Katie Kaminski was eighth in the 200 breaststroke in 2:38.06.
Freshman
Alexis Yliniemi was sixth in 3-meter diving at 216.75 which was a season-best. Junior
Ali Grinde was eighth with a score of 193.00. Yliniemi was sixth in 1-meter diving with a season-best score of 363.95 while Grinde was 10th with a score of 319.10.
