MOORHEAD, Minn. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's soccer team wraps up the regular season this week with pair of huge Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference games. The Dragons host St. Cloud State at 2 p.m. on Wednesday and then will travel to Northern State for a 3 p.m. game on Friday.
MSUM is still alive for a berth in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference tournament and will need two wins this week to keep those hopes alive. Each NSIC win is worth three points, and MSUM currently sits at 15 points; eighth-place Wayne State is at 20 points while Winona State is at 18. The Dragons, St. Cloud State, UMary and Northern State are the only four NSIC teams with two games left on the schedule.

Kayleigh Sedlacek picked up two wins and didn't allow a goal in more than 150 minutes of action.
Sedlacek is 5-4-4 in goal on the season with five shutouts. She has 84 saves and a 1.03 goals allowed average.
Freshman forward
Mckenzie Ickert has three goals, three assists and three points for MSUM while junior midfielder
Jensen Odegaard has two goals, two assists and six points. Brownell has two goals, an assist and five points while senior
Maren Soupir has two goals.
Christie Kopietz is in her fourth season as the MSUM head coach.
About St. Cloud State
St. Cloud State is 9-4-3 overall and 8-3-2 in the NSIC. The Huskies won two games last weekend, beating Minot State 2-0 on Friday and UMary 1-0 on Sunday. Claire Shea leads SCSU with six goals, two assists and 14 points while Jenna Dominguez has four goals, three assists and 11 points. Nicole Friis leads with four assists. Zoe Welsh has six shutouts, 64 saves and a 0.82 goals allowed average this season. Gretta Arvesen is in her sixth season as the SCSU head coach with a record of 47-44-17.
About Northern State
The Wolves are 4-11-1 overall and 2-10-1 in the NSIC. They split last weekend, beating Minnesota Crookston 6-1 before losing to Bemidji State 1-0 on Sunday. Shianne Rosselli leads Northern with four goals, three assists and 11 points while Mallory Schoenhard has three goals, one assist and seven points. Morgan Bury has been the primary goalkeeper for Northern and has 76 saves and a 1.58 goals allowed average. Ryszard Gorski is in his first season as the Northern State head coach.
