The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's basketball team (RV) continues play in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference/Sanford Health Tournament on Saturday when the Dragons face Winona State. Tip-off is at noon on Saturday at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, S.D.
A viewing party is set for the game at Buffalo Wild Wings in Moorhead on Saturday at noon.
MSUM is seeking its first-ever conference tournament title.
MSUM is 24-5 on the year and won the NSIC regular season title for a third straight year and the NSIC North title for a fourth straight year. Winona State is 15-12 overall.

Megan Hintz
The Dragons opened up NSIC tournament play with a 92-67 rout of Upper Iowa. MSUM had five players in double figures, led by
Kiley Borowicz with 17 points and
Megan Hintz with 16. Hintz reached 1,000 points for her career during the game.
Hintz leads MSUM at 15.3 points and 10.3 rebounds per game while sophomore guard
Kiley Borowicz averages 14.6 points and 5.0 rebounds per game. Senior guard
Jacky Volkert averages 12.8 points and 4.6 assists per game.
As a team MSUM scores 69.2 points per game and shoots 41.0 percent from the field. The Dragons outrebound their foes 41.1-32.2 and allow 58.8 points per game.
Karla Nelson is in her 19th season as the MSUM head coach with a record of 349-193 at the school. Nelson is the second-longest tenured head coach in the NSIC.

The Warriors are 15-12 after beating Minot State, 63-57 in the opening round of the conference tournament. Kayla Schaefer had 16 points for Winona while Taylor Hustad had 14.
