The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's basketball team continues action on the road this weekend with games at Wayne State (Neb.) at 5:30 p.m. on Friday and Augustana at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
The Dragons have won three in a row, including road wins at Bemidji State (63-56) and Minnesota Crookston (95-59) last week. Sophomore forward
Peyton Boom averaged 19.5 points per game to lead the Dragons; she had a career-high 20 points in the win at Bemidji.
Wayne State and MSUM will meet for a 41st time with the series tied at 20-20. MSUM will meet Augustana for a 28th time with the Vikings lead the series 16-11. The Dragons beat both teams at home in 2018-19 on their way to a third straight NSIC title.
Senior forward
Megan Hintz leads MSUM at 15.2 points and 7.6 rebounds per game while junior guard Jacobson averages 9.9 points, 3.2 assists and 6.1 rebounds per game. Sophomore guard
Natalie Steichen leads at 4.0 assists per game. Boom averages 9.5 points and 5.4 rebounds per game.
MSUM is outrebounding its opponents 44.5-31.0 and outscoring its foes 73.0-55.6.
Karla Nelson is in her 20th season as the MSUM head coach with a record of 365-199 at the school.

Wayne State is 11-5 overall and 6-4 in the NSIC. The Wildcats split on the road last weekend, beating Upper Iowa 78-55 after losing to Winona State 83-75.
Erin Norling leads the Wildcats at 19.7 points and 7.9 rebounds per game while Halley Busse averages 13.9 points and 3.4 assists per game. Brittany Bongartz averages 12.1 points per game and also leads with 27 blocks.
