Complete Final Results
BISMARCK, N.D. -- Senior
Erin Fons earned all-conference honors to lead the Minnesota State University Moorhead women's swimming and diving team at the final day of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Championships on Saturday in Bismarck, N.D.
MSUM finished in sixth place with 303 points. St. Cloud State won the team title.
Fons finished third in the 200 breaststroke in 2:23.31, improving her prelim time by .19 seconds, to pick up All-NSIC honors for the first time in her Dragon career.
MSUM's 400 freestyle relay was fifth in 3:32.32. That consisted of senior
Breah Anderson, sophomore
Lexie Bray, senior
Megan Gates and sophomore
Katelin Winter.
Freshman
Alexis Yliniemi was seventh in 3-meter diving with a sore of 366.60 while
Ali Grinde was ninth at 328.10.
Anderson was 10th in the 100 free in 52.61, which was .55 seconds faster than her morning prelim time.
Senior
McKenna Togstad broke 19 minutes for the first time in her career in the 1,650 free, swimming a time of 18:59.15.
Bray was 12th in the 200 backstroke in 2:11.10 while junior
Julia Wallace was 16th in 2:13.95.
