MOORHEAD, Minn. — The Minnesota State University Moorhead swimming and diving team is back in action on Saturday when it hosts Minnesota State-Mankato. The dual begins at 1 p.m. at the Nemzek Pool.
No fans will be allowed at Saturday's dual but fans can follow the action at msumdragons.com or by clicking at the video link above.
Both teams are 1-0 on the season. MSUM opened with a win over Southwest Minnesota State while Minnesota State — the preseason NSIC favorite — rolled past St. Cloud State.
Last Time Out: Bach, Bray Lead Dragons to Win
Two wins each by freshman Aubrey Bach and junior Lexie Bray helped MSUM cruise to a 143-78 dual win over Southwest Minnesota State in the dual opener for both teams on Jan. 9.
Bach won the 200 free in 2:03.16 and added a win in the 100 free in 56.11. Freshman Arina Diah Pitaloka Bratamidjaja was second in the 100 free in 56.41 in a close race with Bach.
Bray won the 50 free in 25.81 and also claimed the 100 back in 1:02.76.
Sophomore Katelyn Lee won the 100 breaststroke in 1:12.77.
MSUM won the 200 medley relay in 1:55.68 with sophomore Kate MacGregor, Lee, junior Katelin Winter and Bray teaming up for that win.
MSUM's 400 freestyle relay won in 3:48.88. Bratamidjaja, freshman Jordyn Danielson, freshman Ellie Pulkrabek and Bach teamed up for that time.
Freshman Rachel Kriese was the lone diver competing. She had a score of 183.95 in 1-meter diving and 166.55 in 3-meter in her Dragon debut.
