MOORHEAD, Minn. — Junior Katelin Winter and the 200 freestyle relay picked up wins in the Minnesota State University Moorhead women's swimming and diving team's 231-63 loss to Minnesota State-Mankato on Saturday at the Nemzek Pool in Moorhead.
MSUM swim seniors Alyssa Ege, left and Julia Wallace were honored prior to Saturday's meet.
Minnesota State is the preseason NSIC favorite and is 3-0 in duals while MSUM fell to 1-1.

"It was great to have the opportunity to honor our seniors tonight," MSUM head coach Charlie King said. "While it was tough not having parents at the meet, but we are very proud of the way our seniors were able to focus at the task at hand and rally the team. They will be missed."
Winter won the 100 butterfly in 59.67 and added a runner-up finish in the 400 free in 4:20.86.
MSUM's 200 free relay, consisting of Arina Diah Pitaloka Bratamidjaja, freshman Aubrey Bach, junior Lexie Bray and Winter, prevailed in 1:42.01, winning by just by .02 seconds.
Freshman Kseniia Gaidamukha was second in the 50 backstroke in 29.09 and added a fourth in the 100 back in 1:03.02.
Bray was third in the 50 free in 25.33 and third in the 100 back in 1:02.01. Bratamidjaja was fourth in the 200 free in 2:04.94.
MSUM's next action is scheduled for Jan. 23 at Southwest Minnesota State.
