MOORHEAD, Minn. — The Minnesota State University Moorhead volleyball team was swept at home by No. 6 Southwest Minnesota State on Friday, falling to the Mustangs 25-17, 25-15, 25-16 at Nemzek Fieldhouse in Moorhead.
MSUM is now 1-3 on its five-match homestand, which concludes on Saturday.
Freshman setter Halle Erickson had 18 assists to go with five digs.
Junior outside hitter Amanda Carlson had 12 kills for MSUM while freshman middle blocker Abby Thompson had five. Carlson led with 11 digs while senior libero Sarah Petrbok and sophomore defensive specialist Brooke Walthall had nine apiece.
Junior middle blocker Elise Bakke had two solo blocks and an assist.
The Dragons will host Sioux Falls at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday to cap off the weekend and homestand.
