MARSHALL, Minn. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's soccer team lost to Southwest Minnesota State, 2-0 in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference action in Marshall, Minn., on Friday.
The game was tied for more than 70 minutes before Abbey Hoisington scored a goal at the 71:13 mark to put SMSU up 1-0. Hoisington added another goal in the final minute to push the final score to 2-0.
Dayla Miller had a shot on goal for MSUM, which was outshot 13-1 for the game.
Senior goalkeeper
Kayleigh Sedlacek had five saves for MSUM.
"We are a young team and we are working through being more consistent," MSUM head coach
Christie Kopietz said.
MSUM is at Sioux Falls on Sunday for a 1 p.m. game on Sunday.
