After a 1-4 homestand, the Minnesota State University Moorhead volleyball team is on the road the next two weekend for Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference matchups. The Dragons play at Augustana on Friday at 6 p.m. and at No. 6 Wayne State on Saturday at 1 p.m. this weekend.
The Dragons are 1-14 on the season and 1-6 in the NSIC conference after losses to then-#6 ranked Southwest Minnesota State University and Sioux Falls last week.
Junior outside hitter Amanda Carlson leads the team in kills with 182. Junior outside hitter Bridget Witzmann has 80. Carlson also leads with 18 service aces.
Freshman setter Halle Erickson leads the team in assists with 197 with freshman setter Kelly Klees adding 156.
Senior libero Sarah Petrbok leads with 225 digs while Carlson has 149 and freshman outside hitter Jadyn Feist has 111.
Junior middle blocker Elise Bakke has 39 blocks to lead the team at the net.
Bob Jones is in his first season as the MSUM head coach.

The Vikings are 10-5 on the season and 5-2 in the NSIC conference after victories over Minot State and UMary last week. Junior Maddy Guetter leads the team in kills with 160, followed closely by senior Payton Rosendahl with 141. Senior Avery Thorson leads the team in assists with 528. Jennifer Jacobs is in her fifth season as head coach at Augustana University.
About Wayne State
The Wildcats are 12-2 on the season and 6-1 in the NSIC conference after victories over Minot State and UMary last week. Sophomore Kelsie Cada leads the team in kills with 152, followed closely by Freshman Jazlin De Haan with 136. Sophomore Rachel Walker leads the team in assists with 462. Scott Kneifl is in his 17th season as head coach at Wayne State University.
