MARSHALL, Minn. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's swimming and diving team suffered its first dual loss of the season on Thursday, falling to Southwest Minnesota State 140-90 in Marshall, Minn.
MSUM's 200 medley relay won in 1:53.09 with senior
Kate MacGregor, freshman
Vasilina Shipilova, senior
Katelin Winter and freshman
Demi-Lee Carlisle teaming up for that victory.
Freshman
Danielle Heckaman won the 1,650 free in 19:07.04 with freshman
Julia Solberg taking second at 19:15.44.
Shipilova won the 100 IM in 1:01.27 and was second in the 200 breaststroke in 2:31.70.
Senior
Lexie Bray won the 200 back in 2:13.67 and was second in the 50 free in 25.42.
Sophomore
Arina Bratamidjaja was second in the 200 free in 2:02.54 while Winter was second in the 200 fly in 2:14.40.
MSUM's 200 free relay was second in 1:41.95 with Carisle, Winter, Bratamidjaja and Bray teaming up for that win.
The Dragons are off until Dec. 3-5 when they will compete at the Rochester Invite.
