MOORHEAD, Minn. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead volleyball team fell at home to No. 8 Winona State on Friday by scores of 25-19, 25-9, 25-17 at Nemzek Fieldhouse in Moorhead.
MSUM fell to 5-14 in the NSIC with the loss while Winona State improved to 16-3 in the league.

Brooke Walthall had a career-high 22 digs while junior outside hitter
Amanda Carlson had 12.

Abby Thompson had four block assists each while junior middle blocker
Elise Bakke had two solo blocks and three assists.

Kelly Klees had 11 assists.
Carlson and Witzmann had six kills each to lead the offense.
Winona State hit .216 for the match while the Dragons struggled with their hitting, recording a -.026 percentage.
MSUM wraps up the regular season on Saturday against Upper Iowa. Game time is 3:30 p.m.
