MSUM saw its comeback fall short in a 33-27 home loss to Northern State last week. Junior fullback Hayden Boll rushed for two touchdowns in the loss for MSUM.
Freshman quarterback Tommy Falk has completed 199-of-336 passes for 2,388 yards and 16 touchdowns while senior receiver Grady Bresnahan has 57 catches for 768 yards and six scores. Sophomore receiver Ryan Bieberdorf has 52 catches for 655 yards and seven scores.
On the ground freshman running back Luke Imdieke has 264 rushing yards.
MSUM scores 25.2 points per game and records 336 yards per game of total offense.
Freshman linebacker Josiah Behm has 74 tackles and three interceptions while senior linebacker Matt Schoh has 71 tackles Senior defensive end Darius Woods-Steichen leads with four sacks while three players lead with three interceptions apiece.
The Dragons allow 27.6 points per game and 407.7 yards per game of total offense.
About Concordia-St. Paul
Concordia-St. Paul fell to 1-8 on the season with a 42-17 road loss at UMary last Saturday. CSP led 10-7 at one point in the second quarter before surrendering 28 unanswered points.
Jaylin Richardson has rushed for 234 yards and two scores. The Golden Bears have used three quarterbacks this season, led by Conner Cordts who is 82-of-141 for 857 yards and six scores. Joey Farley leads CSP with 29 catches for 164 yards and a score.
The Wolves score 15.4 points per game and record 265.1 yards per game of total offense.
Rhett Sheehan leads the Golden Bear defense with 50 tackles and three interceptions while Andrew Egnarski has 47 tackles and five sacks. CSP is allowing 38.9 points per game and surrendering 442.0 yards per game of total offense.

MSUM has intercepted 15 passes through eight games which is tied for first in all of Division II. Nine different Dragons have recorded an interception this season. Three Dragons have recorded three interceptions each: Josiah Behm, Jared Kallenbach and Cody Sorenson.
Bolled Over
Junior fullback Hayden Boll has become a big threat near the goal line for MSUM. He leads the team with six rushing touchdowns, including two in the Northern game.
Big Day for Blackwell
MSUM senior cornerback Carter Blackwell had a big day in the Dragons' 35-31 win over UMary. He returned a kickoff 70 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter was named NSIC Special Teams Player of the Week on the following Monday, becoming the first Dragon to earn a weekly honor this season.
Grady Grabs Record
Senior Grady Bresnahan became MSUM's all-time leader in receptions dagainst Upper Iowa. Bresnahan has 236 career receptions at MSUM. Bresnahan is eighth in receptions per game (7.2) and 16th in receiving yards per game (96.8).
Touchdown Block Party
MSUM blocked punts in back-to-back games, both of which were returned for touchdowns. Against Minot on Oct. 9, freshman defensive lineman Thomas Myers blocked a punt and freshman defensivew back Joey Hughes returned it 29 yards for a score. A week later at Bemidji State, freshman defensive lineman Caleb Doeden blocked a punt that Myers returned for a touchdown.
Sorenson Steps Up
Freshman defensive back Cody Sorenson returned an interception 60 yards for a touchdown in the first half of the 29-17 win over Minot State. Sorenson leads MSUM with three interceptions. It was MSUM's first pick six since Deiondre Taylor returned an interception for a score against Minot in 2019.
Week 10 Under Laqua
The Dragons are 6-3 in Week 10 games under Head Coach Steve Laqua, including a 31-26 win at Bemidji State in 2018 and a 22-16 win at Minot State in 2017. Bemidji State topped the Dragons 28-24 in 2019.
