MOORHEAD -- The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's swimming and diving team is back at home against the University of Mary on Saturday at 1 p.m. on Saturday.

The Dragons are 1-0 on the season after a 128-77 win over Northern State on Oct. 9th.  

Freshman Danielle Heckaman won the 1,000 free and 500 free, while freshman Vasilina Shipilova won the 200 IM and 100 breaststroke.

Senior Lexie Bray also won the 50 free, with Freshman Lily Lengerich taking second. Senior Katelin Winter won the 100 butterfly while senior Kate Macgregor won the 100 backstroke. MSUM also won two relays.

  

Charlie King is in his fourth year as head coach at Minnesota State University Moorhead.  

 

About UMary 

The Marauders are 3-2 on the season after defeating the University of Jamestown this weekend. Seniors Sarah Dudley, Andrea Lee, Abby Loel, Victoria Murillo, and Mady Scherwinski return to lead the team. Leah Neiheisel is in her third year as head coach at the University of Mary.
