ROCHESTER, Minn. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's swimming and diving team has recorded eight top eight finishes during the first two days of the Rochester Invite. MSUM is in seventh place with 159 points in the 10-team field.
 
St. Cloud State leads the team standings.
 
Senior 
Katelin Winter finished fourth in the 200 IM in 2:08.79 which was nearly two seconds faster than her prelim time. Freshman 
Vasilina Shipilova was sixth at 2:11.28.
 
Winter was fifth in the 200 free in 1:54.21
 
Shipilova was fifth in the 400 IM in 4:38.54 for her second top six finish of the weekend.
 
Senior 
Lexie Bray was fifth in the 50 free in 24.45 and added eighth in the 100 backstroke in 59.98.
 
MSUM's 800 free relay was sixth in 7:54.83. That consisted of Shipilova, Winter, sophomore 
Arina Bratamidjaja and Bray. That time was nearly four seconds faster than the seed time.
 
MSUM's 200 free relay 'A' squad was eighth in 1:38.32. That consisted of Winter, Bray, Shipilova and freshman 
Demi-Lee Carlisle.
 
The final day of competition is Sunday in Rochester.
