MOORHEAD, Minn. — The Minnesota State University Moorhead men's basketball team will face Northern State in the championship game of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference/Sanford Health Tournament at 4 p.m. on Sunday at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, S.D.

It's the third matchup in a span of 10 days between the NSIC North rivals. The two teams split in Aberdeen, S.D., on Feb. 19-20.

Northern State won the first meeting on Feb. 19 by a 90-83 score thanks to 39 points from junior forward Parker Fox, who is the NSIC North Player of the Year. 

The Dragons avenged that loss the next night with a 93-86 victory, thanks to a career-high 25 points from senior forward Gatdoar Kueth. 

The winner of Sunday's game not only wins the NSIC tournament crown, it also receives the automatic berth to the NCAA regional tournament which will be held in Aberdeen.
