The Minnesota State University Moorhead volleyball team continues its five-match homestand this week with a pair of Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference foes. The Dragons will host No. 6 Concordia-St. Paul at 6 p.m. on Friday and then host Minnesota State, Mankato at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
The Dragons are 1-10 overall and 1-2 in the NSIC after sweeping Minot State on Tuesday. Junior outside hitter Amanda Carlson had 11 kills and eight service aces for the Dragons. Freshman setter Halle Erickson had 19 assists.
Carlson is leading the hitting corps with 132 kills while junior middle blocker Bridget Witzmann has 59. Freshman setter Halle Erickson has 151 set assists while freshman setter Kelly Klees has 107. Senior libero Sarah Petrbok leads with 14 service aces.
At the net, freshman middle blocker Abby Thompson has 27 total blocks while junior middle blocker Elise Bakke and freshman middle blocker Lexi Pew have 26 apiece.Â
Petrbok has 180 digs while Carlson has 112 and freshman outside hitter Jadyn Feist has 101.
Bob Jones is in his first year as the MSUM head coach.Â

No. 6 Concordia-St. Paul improved to 9-2 on the year with a 25-11, 25-23, 25-23 sweep of Upper Iowa at home on Wednesday. Jasmine Mulvihill leads CSP with 137 kills while Sophia Andersen has 94. Ellie Veldman has 319 assits while Tori Hanson leads with 133 digs. Katie Mattson and Kennedy Brady have 34 blocks apiece. Brady Starkey is in his 19th season as the CSP head coach.

Minnesota State, Mankato, which faces Northern State prior to facing MSUM, is 7-4 overall and 2-1 in the NSIC after falling to No. 11 Winona State on Tuesday in three sets. Mariah Edgington has 121 kills for the Mavericks while Dana Schindler has 96. Schindler has 186 assists while Mara Quam has 206 digs. Corey Phelps is in his first season as the Minnesota State head coach.
